Title: "Living Your Baptism"
By Br. André Marie, M.I.C.M.
This informative talk begins at our supernatural beginning, baptism. If you do not know what the five effects are that the sacrament of baptism procures for the soul, then it would be most beneficial for you to listen to this simple presentation. Brother André Marie uses the original Roman Catechism of the Council of Trent to elucidate on the transforming effects of the most important sacrament and the habitual virtues of Faith, Hope, and Charity that it instills immediately in the soul. Then, he develops other spiritual themes that proceed from baptism as a first principle: the four ways of obtaining divine wisdom (based on the teaching of St. Louis de Montfort); three reasons why the mysteries of Jesus Christ (the Incarnation, the Blessed Sacrament, and the Mystical Body) are our mysteries; and, lastly, he gives two very doable suggestions for living daily the vows of our baptism, the one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
