Title: On Parasites and Christian Knights: The Role of Catholic Education in the Crusade.
By Brad Grinstead
In this evocative presentation Professor Grinstead spoke about the importance and urgency of educating oneself in natural as well as supernatural wisdom. Citing from the writings of Saint John Bosco, the late Catholic philosopher John Senior (author of two books on Catholic culture ), and Brother Francis, the professor mounted unassailable reasons why it is imperative for Catholic involved in this crusade to discipline themselves to study. Aimed primarily at the younger generation, this talk was an exhortation not to be a parasite, living off your parents’ or even your teachers’ largesse, but to become a Christian knight, a well-equipped soldier in the Church Militant.
