By Sr. Catherine Goddard Clark, M.I.C.M.

Did you ever hear of Father Feeney? Despite what the liberals say, he was a devout Catholic priest who defended the teachings of the Church. This book tells how the authorities in the Boston Archdiocese and the Society of Jesus ("Loyolas") teamed up with the Boston Yankee Masons ("Cabots") to silence a priest whose "embarrassing" insistence on Catholic dogmas, especially the dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, disturbed their liberal agenda. An inspiring story, well told.

A fascinating read. It opened my eyes to the anti-Christ revolution among the clergy prior to the 2nd Vatican Council. That said, there were some glaring questions that were never answered for me. For instance, how does it compromise one's faith to simply move to another place of ministry? Fr. Feeney could have continued to proclaim "extra ecclesia nula salus" at the new parish assigned to him. It seems obvious that the "Center" played into the hands of the unjust persecution of their bishop by letting the issue be about obedience rather than doctrine. Why the striking lack of prudence? I realize that hindsight is 20/20, so i cannot criticize, only wonder.
