By Brother Francis Maluf
Here we have Brother Francis’ personal reflections about his mentor, Father Feeney. These talks also include a study of the doctrinal issue concerning “No salvation outside the Church,” in both its theological and historical ambient. Papal encyclicals dealing with the salvation doctrine are analyzed, as are opposing views of contemporary theologians, such as Bishop Fulton Sheen, Fr. Francis Connell, Msgr Joseph Fenton, and Fr. Avery Dulles. Brother gives his listeners a vivid picture of the early days of Saint Benedict Center and the excitement for the Faith that Father Feeney engendered. This series is considered by many to be the best exposition on tape of the doctrinal crusade in its nascent years.
