Kung tells the powerful story of his uncle, Cardinal Kung, who spent 33 years in prison for his fidelity to Rome and became a symbol of resistance against the Communist regime. He argues that the so-called "freedom of religion" in China is a sham, designed to deceive the West while the true Church continues to be brutally suppressed. Ultimately, Kung issues an urgent plea for Catholics in the West to pray for the persecuted Church in China and to defend the authentic Catholic faith against compromise and government control.
