2018 SBC Conference
Theme: Saving America
In this talk our missionary sisters encourages lay Catholics to embrace their role as apostles in everyday life. They frame this mission not as achieving immediate conversions, but as "sowing seeds" of faith through small, consistent actions and conversations. The sisters offer practical strategies, such as using sacramentals, sharing stories of the saints, and demonstrating authentic joy and charity to build rapport. They emphasize that overcoming the fear of evangelization requires prayer, study, and trust in God's grace to do the work. Ultimately, the talk is a call to action for all Catholics to become spiritual "pyromaniacs," lighting small sparks of faith in the world around them.
